Arabella Advisors Staff

Arabella Advisors staff assist CJRF in the grantmaking due diligence process. In many cases, Arabella Advisors staff will work on behalf of the CJRF to coordinate grant agreements and any potential due diligence concerns with grant applicants.


Myron Marshall, Jr.

Myron comes to Arabella with a breadth of experience in the social sector and a strong commitment towards advancing racial equity. He recently served as a program officer at the Cleveland Foundation, specializing in organizational learning and equitable evaluation practices. He also previously worked as a Legislative Aide in the Delaware House of Representatives and as a statewide STEM and Arts program coordinator for the Boys & Girls Club of Delaware. Myron holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Public Policy from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in Public Administration from CUNY Baruch College.

At Arabella Advisors, Myron's portfolio consists of projects relating to grassroots advocacy, progressive movement scenario planning, legal protection of protestors, combating online disinformation, and mitigating global climate change.


Alisse Palmer

Before joining Arabella Advisors, Alisse worked as an intern in the US Congress, supporting a congressional office and conducting background research on legislation. She also has experience in the International Education and International Media Analytics fields and has worked as a translator in France and the US.

Alisse holds a B.A. in International Affairs from George Washington University.


Jess duska

Prior to joining Arabella, Jess was a Consultant with the Charlottesville Food Justice Network, a local non-profit advocating for a more sustainable and just food system. While working with the food justice network, Jess worked with local community members, non-profit organizations, and elected officials to comprehensively investigate and understand the local food system. She then developed policy recommendations that incorporated food into city department policies. Her work with the food justice network has solidified her interest in working to develop resilient communities.

Jess holds an MPH and BA from the University of Virginia.
